Our Charity and Sustainability
We have many charity partners here in the UK and abroad. We continue to partner with many charities in providing care and provisions for poor and socially disadvantaged communities. In the UK, our main charity partner is BeeHive Trust, in partnerships we have raised funds for the poor, homeless, disabled, children, education and organised summer trips for disadvantaged families. Past five years we have been working with our major charity partners BeeHive Trust (UK) and Donate For Good (Bangladesh), in distributing emergency food packages, blankets in cold winters, funding water wells, building homes, and supporting sustainable projects.
Our main work has been focused on providing sight and health care to the poor and outreach communities in Bangladesh. Past five years we have helped almost 3,000 people with eye tests, spectacles, eye drops and cataract operations. We hope to expand our operation in developing skills for eye care professionals and providing care for more people. With your help, we can achieve this goal and do more.
You can follow our charity projects progresses on our blogs.
You can set up a standing order of £1, £2, £5 or £10 a month or any other amount you wish.
We take environmental sustainability seriously and only source from ethically sustainable sources. We aim to minimise our carbon footprint by turning off lights when not in use, using less heating around the premises and installing energy-efficient LED bulbs. Where possible we encourage our patients to put recycle their used glasses by donating to the third world and disposing of them in an environmentally friendly way. We are here to support our patients in reducing their carbon footprint.
